What is computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (cCBT)?

Computerised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CCBT) is a method for delivering CBT via a computer, tablet or phone. Research has shown that CCBT can be as effective as face-to-face therapy.

Currently, the following cCBT programmes are being offered:

FearFighter™ is an online program for panic and phobia. Thousands of people have used this program to help them overcome their fears and lead a more normal life. This program teaches you how to tackle your thoughts and challenge avoidance behaviours that characterise panic and phobia. You can print out worksheets for activities, monitor your own progress, and receive emails with further tips at the end of each step. Most sessions last about 30 minutes.  It is recommended that you do one session a week.

MoodCalmer is an online, engaging, simple to navigate, self-help computerised cognitive behavioural therapy program for people experiencing low mood and depression.

Restore™ is an evidence-based online CBT program for sleep problems and insomnia (sometimes referred to as CBTi.) This program was developed by international sleep expert Dr. Norah Vincent and has been featured in the New York Times, Time Magazine, USNEWS and other news outlets such as AOL Health and MS Health.

Shade™ is an interactive online program for substance use, alcohol use and depression. It has received acclaim for its ability to be used with a wide variety of patients over broad geographical areas, as well as for its outcomes and approach. With 3 Randomised Control Trials (RCT), Shade™ has proven to be a very effective CBT program to beat addiction and depression
